For this weeks assignment we had to design a cover. I honestly had a little trouble with it. I think my first two work the best. My target audience is adults in their mid twenties to late thirties. I look forward to feed back.
Brianna - The cover is all about communication with your audience. So, I agree - the 3rd cover seems to be talking to farmers too clearly, who are not your audience.
The other 2 are nice designs... but how can they hold more "visual" content? How could them tie in more closely with what this issue holds inside? Could the seeds have something printed on them (GMO?)? What element can you add to the 2nd design to help us know who this magazine is intended for? Also... can you add something to the image to tie into the content (insects, algae, etc). Read the articles again, and identify some things that might be part of a composite image you create in photoshop.
