PSA—Protect yourself.
My magazine is for high school students coming close to graduation and I wanted to raise awareness for skin cancer since I know this is a common age to suntan. I tried the PSA out with two different images although they're quite zoomed in so they may be blurry for now.
I think your second image works better I would Work on the typeface a little more make it more dramatic since your talking about skin cancer and how it can kill people. I would make "want a killer tan" bigger so it is the same length as the type under it or bigger I feel like I'm reading the bottom line before the first one because they are competing with each other
ReplyDeleteTan - Although both are very similar, I would consider moving forward with the first one because it looks quite similar to winter vacation ads, and this "twist" on a familiar design brings strength to the content and a clever conceptual approach that #2 doesn't have.
ReplyDeleteHowever, the design isn't balanced. You have set up a symmetrical layout, with heading and figure on beach... but the items in lower left disturb this. Can you place the logo at the bottom center, and some type on either side?
I see that Rey suggested you go with #2... so now you have a vote for each!
