Here is my updated cover since the design brief evaluation!

  1. The m in magazine gets lost and I would make it so that the g in change doesn't touch the blue bar. Im still not sure how i feel about the text running into the bag but other then that i think this is pretty much finished nice work

  2. Amanda - I can see how you are refining and rethinking the position of some elements here, good work. Some thoughts:

    1. Of all the taglines, which one supports the content of the image? A canvas bag full of veggies suggests a certain diet and lifestyle. A good choice to "lead" with might be "How our Eating Habits will Change" rather than "The New Face of Hunger".

So, consider pulling that tagline to the top, which will also give it more horizontal room in which to sit. I question the styling of the text here... although I agree with the emphasis of the words "How" and "Change". Please reconsider the inconsistent, roughly handwritten font for "Change."

Pay attention to the capitalization of this line

    2. You have 2 choices to improve the readability and visibility of the masthead... either darken the image slightly on the arm in the photo, or add a dark outer glow and/or drop shadow to the masthead. You do need to attend to this.

    This is coming together well.

  3. I would play around with the scaling and/ or positioning of the image in terms of the way it interacts with the type. Things start to get a little cluttered. Though the use of typography is playful, it starts to get a little much. Scale it back. Also, I will agree with Coni about the tagline. Play around with where things go a little more. Otherwise you are doing some great things. I love the image. The use of the orange with the white, grey and black text is strong.
