Interesting Take on Covers…Quite Coincidential!

Hey guys, check out this fascinating article from Gizmodo on the recent covers for Bloomburg Businessweek! Overall, some of the covers are too "amateur", but then there's some like the one below that are just absolutely breathtaking! Check out the article, and also be free to to check our printed copies of the magazine at the NEiA Library!

Special thanks to Librarian, Damien McCaffrey for posting this article on the
college SGA group via Facebook!

EXERCISE_3

I wanted my covers to be colorful and fun. I wanted show the taste of simple fresh food, using bold typography and different placement of layouts.

Cover Designs

Here are my designs. I tried to use foods that were not so average and recognizable to people. I thought images of food on the white background would help highlight it and immediately show the audience what the magazine is about even if they take a glance at it.

I tried to keep the colors consistent as well as the typefaces with the layouts I've been creating.
