Its not an image but man is it inspirational!!
Hey guys this is something I stumbled across recently and find myself watching it almost daily while I take care of my daily tasks. It's always good to find inspiration from those who you admire or adore, its great when it's unexpected and personal. I watched this guy growing up as I'm sure most of you have! Please enjoy it! ReplyDeleteShomari, this was a great addition; a bit long at 11+ minutes but it grabbed my attention right away. I can relate to what Mr. Carrey has to say about thought, and how thought, our thoughts, impacts our daily life and the directions we take.
ReplyDeleteMy stress and anxiety is most certainly driven by how I process daily issues that arise. So often I’ve been able to look back and see how, in my mind, I exacerbated an issue till it was a hounded times worse than it really was.
Carey says "We are all one thing"... which means our intentions can be different, leading to different actions, but our goals are often the same. Designers who can tap into this can speak more clearly with their work I think.

ReplyDeleteThat is a very bold and powerful statement, without going off on a tangent about that quote; and in comparison to design us designers have the ability and opportunity to reach out to an audience and bring a powerful attention to anything that's visual with our own energy and intentions worked into our designs.
