I recently came across Anthony Lane while browsing designspiration.net. He completes many of these pieces, "A hopefully daily series of quick works exploring layout, color, texture and geometry." This is my personally favorite in which he uses "Geometric shapes and space to evoke a sense of balance and tension." Interpretation is subjective but this portrays tension extremely well for me. This is a really good example of how powerful simple geometric shapes can be (less is more).
