FULL MAGAZINE Revise

I feel like it's almost there. Unsure about the color for the "Future Frontiers". Still open for suggestions, but overall I am very happy with the way it is. Still need to edit a few of the photos. All minor things.

  1. The edits are really subtle but really enhance the look of your magazine. I think your TOC looks much cleaner now and your “Live Green” logo looks much more integrated into the page now that it’s inside the circle. I’m wondering if maybe the link on the bootom is slightly too large? (I know it’ll probably be a little hard to spot in the background if it’s smaller but maybe you could try adding a green bar along the bottom of the page and nest it there?) That way it might stand alone like a separate ad rather than be mistaken for a supporting page to the Prince’s Speech page (I initially thought they went together).

I like the colour change in the third spread, it feels more inviting. (although the page number on the left might be a bit hard to read with the light–on–light colour…see how it prints out!

Last thing I would change is possibly giving the infographic a more interesting name than “Infograph”. Otherwise, it looks like a really great improvement! Your magazine is looking really great!!

  2. Ruby - this has come a long way, good for you!

Attention to the details of your T of C is needed. I see inconsistent leading within the items of the Department. Drop the Infographic listing entirely, it is complicating the list. I see purple just once on the spread - is it lonely? Did you consider using it elsewhere? Maybe the bold department titles could be purple instead of black?

Background behind Future Frontiers - you are still questioning it. Me too. Is the spread overly green? I had thought that choosing a sky color from the pg 5 image would help the transition from this spread to the next since the colors are so different. Did you try a warm neutral from that sky?

That's it - these pages look almost done!
